What is the meaning of IP address?
- Your ISP which is ( Internet Service Provider )assigns a numeric label called an Internet Protocol (IP) address to identify your device among billions of others. In a way, an IP address works like a home address online, as devices use IP to find and communicate with each other.
- This is how an IP address directs data to its destination. First, enter the name of a website (example.com) in the browser. However, your computer does not understand words, only numbers.
